On a scale of 1 - 10 I give this product an 8. Why not a 10. It makes a wonderful dish when adding meat and a touch of olive oil, but on its own it's a bit sticky. Taste wise it's wonderful!

Rice A Roni Rice Pilaf
On a scale of 1 - 10 I give this product an 8. Why not a 10. It makes a wonderful dish when adding meat and a touch of olive oil, but on its own it's a bit sticky. Taste wise it's wonderful!

Zatarain's New Orlean Style Rice Pilaf
On a scale of 1 - 10 I have to give this product an 8.
The flavor is wonderful. Not hot but with just the right amount of seasoning. If you follow the package directions you will find the texture to be perfect. Not too soft and yet not too firm. Preparation takes about 2 minutes with cooking time being from 20-25 minutes. This makes a great side dish with the possibility of adding ingredients such as cooked, chopped chicken to make it a main dish. Pricing for this product in NC is under $1.50 and serves 4.
This is a product that I will be buying again.
